To Segment Linear Elements

  1. Place a fence around the target linework.
  2. From the Topology Cleanup toolbox, select the Segment Linear Element tool.
  3. From the Segment Linear Element tool settings window, select a Mode type.
  4. Set Tolerance and Facetization settings as appropriate.
  5. Accept a data point to accept the fence.

    Shortly, the elements are segmented. A Results window shows the outcome.

    Note: The results may be saved or appended to a text file by selecting the appropriate option from the Results window’s File menu.
